The Surround Video player app allows online 360 Surround Video content to be watched fully interactively on your mobile device. This exciting content genre has now become available as a generic player that can be used to watch Surround Video that has been published online. Surround Video navigation is done with the built-in gyroscope of your iOS device. For a truly immersive experience, you can now also use your Google Cardboard! Just open a video, tap the Cardboard icon and insert your device into your Google Cardboard. This works best with larger screen sizes. When visiting websites with Surround Video content embedded, your iOS device will trigger the Surround Video app to playback that particular video in full 360 glory. The app comes with Surround Video examples that will have to be streamed to your device. Please use your device s settings pane to configure the Surround Video app to stream over 3G/4G as well. By default, streaming has been limited to WIFI only. In order to download and save (example) Surround Video clips, please hold the clip thumbnail and your download will be saved locally.
